HFW pipe refers to EW pipe produced with a welding current frequency equal to or greater than 70 kHz.
ERW Pipe VS HFW pipe
ERW pipe refers to electric resistance welding pipe. It’s one kind of welded pipe without flux.ERW pipe is manufactured from the longitudinal welding of steel. The welding process for ERW/HFW pipe is continuous as opposed to welding of distinct sections at intervals. ERW process uses steel coil as feedstock.In steel pipe field, we usually regard these two name as the same thing.
