How to control the accuracy of stainless steel welded pipe?
Stainless steel welded pipe refers to steel pipe with strict dimension accuracy (tolerance range), good surface finish, roundness, straightness and uniform wall thickness. The main technical indexes of stainless steel welded pipe produced by this technology have met or partially exceeded the requirements of national standard GB12771-2002 and ISO4394/I-1980 (E). How to control the accuracy of stainless steel welded pipe is a problem worth discussing, because too many differences will lead to unusable, which is a very demanding problem.
Because the surface density of stainless steel welded pipe is relatively high, it can reach about 260 mesh even without polishing the external surface. If stainless steel welded pipe is polished inside and outside, its straightness will decrease, so there are special requirements for the straightness of steel pipe, it is generally not recommended to polish. The polished surface of stainless steel welded pipe is very bright. Cold-rolled stainless steel welded pipe has excellent comprehensive performance, can withstand high pressure, cold bending, flattening, no cracking, no wrinkle, can do a variety of complex deformation and mechanical processing. After vacuum annealing treatment, stainless steel welded pipe can be processed. Stainless steel welded pipes are generally used in manufacturing mechanical structures, hydraulic equipment, machinery and other production fields.
Because the size of stainless steel welded pipe can be customized according to the needs of users, and the tolerance range is well controlled, it can be directly used in mechanical equipment, without further processing, which can save cost and time, improve production and material utilization. Therefore, the accuracy of stainless steel welded pipe products will generally be controlled at about 0.02 mm.
Internal and external polishing treatment of stainless steel welded pipe is very important. Generally speaking, steel pipe with a diameter of less than 89 mm has a high surface finish after polishing. However, the external surface of stainless steel welded pipes above 89 mm, especially above 108 mm, is not ideal. If the surface of welded pipes requires no pits and no holes, polishing and autopolishing are usually required.
