16mn seamless steel pipe is made with high strength low alloy structural steel, carbon content of 0.1% -0.25%, adding the main alloying elements manganese, silicon, vanadium, niobium and titanium and so on; its total alloy containing is less than 3%. It is divided into 300,350,400 and 450MPa total four levels according to the intensity. And there are Q295, Q345, Q390, Q420, Q460 according to the materials. And in accordance with the steel impurity elements (sulfur, phosphorus) content by high accompanied by changes to the low carbon, manganese and is divided into A, B, C, D four class.
For 16mn seamless steel pipe, A and B grade steel are usually adopted. Chemical compositions: C: 0.12 ~ 0.20; Mn: 1.20 ~ 1.60; Si: 0.20 ~ 0.55; tensile strength: 470 to 660 N / mm2; yield strength: 275 to 345 N / mm2; elongation: 21%.

According to the surface hardness, the original extent of corrosion, surface roughness, coating and other requirements of the 16mn seamless steel pipe to select the type of abrasive. And for single epoxy, two or three layers of polyethylene coating, using grit and steel shot mixed abrasive is easier to achieve the desired blasting effect.
